New method speeds up product optimization by over five times!
A new method called MOOLP was developed to solve a problem in engineering design and manufacturing optimization. This method helps find the best balance between quality and the likelihood of meeting all performance requirements. By using advanced techniques like Latin supercube sampling and parallel computation, MOOLP can speed up the optimization process by more than five times while maintaining accuracy. The method was tested on a real-world problem involving the sizing of an analog integrated circuit, showing clear advantages over traditional approaches.
