Government-linked construction companies in Malaysia, created to address economic imbalances, were studied to see if they are still relevant. Bumiputera contractors' opinions were gathered, revealing that three out of four companies have limited public value. Changes are recommended for these companies, and the study suggests that policymakers should regularly assess their purpose. This research highlights the importance of examining such entities in developing countries and encourages further exploration in this area.
