Flawed decision-making method could lead to wrong conclusions in real world.
The original and revised Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods can give incorrect rankings when comparing options, especially as the number of options increases. This happens because the methods assume continuous values for comparisons, which may not reflect real-world situations accurately. The study shows that under these conditions, AHP and revised AHP can lead to different rankings than if the actual importance of options was known.
