New framework ensures seamless security in enterprise networks with policy implementation.
The article presents a framework for implementing security policies in enterprise networks. The goal is to create a model that accurately reflects the organization's security policy and applies it to the network. The researchers address challenges of resolving conflicts in the policy rules and distributing access control lists (ACLs) in the network. By formalizing the security policy and generating a conflict-free model, they successfully extract the correct ACL distributions based on the network's topology. The framework's effectiveness was demonstrated through a case study.
