New Sunflower Pigments Unveiled: Potential for Health and Beauty Benefits!
Some types of sunflower seeds contain anthocyanins, which are natural pigments. Researchers identified two major anthocyanins in sunflower seeds, called Pn‐3‐divanillylsambubioside and Cy‐3‐vanillylsambubioside. They also found two other pigments in smaller amounts and identified their components. Additionally, traces of five more pigments were detected in the seeds.
