New evidence reveals crucial roles of epistates in Macedonian societies.
The roles of the epistates in Macedonian contexts were studied by Dr M. B. Hatzopoulos in 1996. The epistates played an important role in Macedonian society, as shown in new evidence from The Macedonian Institutions under the Kings and the Astronomical Diaries of Babylon. This research aims to provide an overview of the various roles of the epistates in Macedonian settings, including the Alexander-cities in Asia.
