Land use change is influenced by demands for goods and services, leading to shifts in land systems worldwide. The CLUMondo model simulates these changes, considering factors like agricultural management intensity and urban expansion. Results show that different regions prioritize either intensifying current land use or expanding arable land to meet growing demands. This approach helps understand the balance between conserving land and meeting human needs.
