Zooplankton in Lake Tiga, Nigeria was studied from 2009 to 2011. Researchers found 54 different species, including tiny animals like Rotifers and Copepods. More species were seen in the dry season than the rainy season. The types of zooplankton changed as you went deeper into the lake. Rotifers were the most common type of zooplankton. The lake was not very polluted.
