Reducing emissions leads to significant decrease in acid rain impact
The computer model RADM was used to study how reducing emissions can affect acid deposition. By comparing emissions levels and monitoring data, researchers found that changing emissions can impact wet sulfate deposition. This method can be applied to other components of precipitation as well.
