The study looked at different designs of labyrinth weirs used in reservoirs to see how well they work compared to traditional designs. They found that the arced labyrinth weir design is more efficient, with a higher discharge rate than the usual in-channel design. On the other hand, projecting, flush, and rounded inlet designs were less efficient than the standard design.
