Estimating aquifer properties is crucial for understanding groundwater availability. Traditional aquifer tests can be costly and only show short-term results. A new method using time series modelling was tested on 42 wells in Australia. The results matched long-term pumping test estimates accurately. This approach also revealed new insights into aquifer variations. The code for this method is available online for others to use.
