The study looked at how public infrastructure affects economic growth in different regions of France. They used data from 1982 to 1993 and found that public infrastructure does have a positive impact on regional growth. However, it doesn't seem to reduce the economic disparities between regions. Overall, public infrastructure seems to help regions grow, especially wealthier ones.
