A male Neoharriotta pinnata, a type of fish with a long nose, was found in the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean. It measured 1040 mm in length and weighed 1750 g. This discovery shows that these fish can be found in the north-eastern part of the Indian Ocean.
