The article explores how economic freedom affects economic growth in MENA countries. By analyzing data from 13 countries over 2000-2009, the study shows that economic freedom has a positive impact on economic development. However, not all aspects of economic freedom contribute equally to growth, with some categories having no effect or even a negative impact. Overall, the research suggests that economic freedom does matter for economic growth in MENA countries.
