Contract farmers in Bangladesh were studied to see how much it costs to produce tomato seeds and how much profit they make. Different types of farmers were looked at, and it was found that medium farmers made the most profit. Using resources efficiently is important for increasing production and profit. The study showed that farmers need to use inputs like labor, seeds, manure, fertilizer, and irrigation more effectively to be successful.
