The study aimed to see how adding nitrogen affects the growth and composition of Tifton 85 bermudagrass in Brazil. They tested different amounts of nitrogen and found that more nitrogen led to higher dry mass production, more green leaf growth, taller grass, and higher protein content. However, the efficiency of nitrogen use decreased after a certain amount was applied.
