Software development organizations aim to improve the quality of their products by assessing and enhancing their software processes. To manage the complexity of this task, a conceptual architecture with metamodels and models is crucial. A four-level architecture has been developed to effectively assess and improve software processes. MANTIS-Metamod, part of the MANTIS system, helps manage the concepts within this architecture for software process improvement.
