Sand waves in seas like the North Sea form regular patterns. Current models only consider sand movement along the seabed, but suspended sediment transport is also important for full sand wave dynamics. This study looks at how suspended sediment affects sand waves. They used formulas to model how sediment moves through the water and how it settles. This helps understand how wind waves affect sediment transport.
