Vacuum glazing to eliminate condensation in modern buildings, boost energy efficiency.
Vacuum glazing was tested to see if it could prevent condensation in windows better than regular glass. The researchers used computer simulations and made three vacuum glazing samples to compare. They found that vacuum glazing with very low internal pressure had much lower heat transmission compared to regular glass, making it less likely to have condensation. This means vacuum glazing can improve both condensation and insulation in windows for modern buildings.
