Software metrics are important for measuring the quality of software. A new approach using Genetic Algorithms has been proposed to measure the goodness of software implementation. This method prioritizes elements in software and selects the fittest ones, based on natural selection principles. The goal is to obtain objective and quantifiable measurements that can be used for various applications like cost estimation, quality assurance, and software performance optimization.
