Solar radiation affects Earth's climate. Scientists reconstructed solar radiation levels since 1610. They used sunspot data to predict a small increase in total solar radiation since the Maunder minimum. Radiation in most spectral ranges has increased over the past 400 years, especially at shorter wavelengths. However, radiation between 1500 and 2500 nm has slightly decreased.
