Chongqing study reveals ideal summer room temperature for maximum comfort
The study looked at what temperature is most comfortable for people in air-conditioned rooms in Chongqing, China during the summer. They measured skin temperatures of 20 people in different room temperatures and asked them how they felt. The results showed that the ideal temperature for comfort was around 25.9°C, and people could tolerate up to 29°C. People in this region can handle higher temperatures than in other places. When it gets warm, skin temperatures rise, but people feel it most on their head, back, and chest, making them uncomfortable.
