Namibian Pastoralists Adapt to Harsh Realities, Defy Perceptions of Land Degradation
The study looked at how people in a dry area in Namibia see land degradation. People thought the land was getting worse due to bad farming and more people. But, data showed that rainfall didn't change and plants and soil were okay. The people didn't have a plan to manage the land well because of too many people, not enough water, and limits on moving animals during droughts.
