Customer engagement is a new concept in customer management that goes beyond simple transactions. It involves customers showing behavior towards a brand or company that goes above and beyond. In today's connected world, where customers can easily interact with each other and businesses through social media, customer engagement is becoming increasingly important. A model was proposed to show what influences customer engagement, what obstacles may arise, and how it can benefit businesses. Seven articles in a special issue were used to support this model.
