Database management systems are software that help organize and manipulate data for different uses. Traditional systems work well for text-based data, but struggle with multimedia content like images and videos. This study looked at how to improve database systems to handle multimedia data more effectively. The main challenge is making sure users can easily access the stored multimedia objects. While current systems are good at managing text data, they struggle with representing multimedia content. This research aims to find ways to better manage multimedia data in digital libraries.
