A new test called FLANDERS was created to measure whether people prefer using their left or right hand for skilled activities. Researchers asked over 3000 college students about their hand, foot, eye, and ear preferences, as well as their family's handedness. They found that FLANDERS can accurately identify three groups of people: left-handed, mixed-handed, and right-handed. The test results were linked to other measures of hand preference and performance, as well as the respondent's gender and their parents' hand preferences.
