They found strong positive connections between seed yield and traits like biomass, seed weight, number of seeds, and number of pods. These traits also had strong positive connections with each other. They discovered that seed weight and number of pods have the biggest direct impact on seed yield. On the other hand, traits like flowering time and disease severity had a negative impact on seed yield.
