Genetic variations in key pathway genes linked to non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk.
Genetic variations in certain JAK/STAT pathway genes may increase the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Researchers studied 12 genes in this pathway and found that specific variations in STAT3 and STAT4 were linked to a higher risk of NHL. This suggests that these genetic differences could be involved in the development of lymphoma and should be looked into further.
