The article examines different methods for testing if the means of groups are equal when the variances are not the same. They compared the accuracy of p-values from various tests using simulations. For small sample sizes, the ANOVA F-test gives the most reliable results. For larger sample sizes, the parametric bootstrap test and the Kenward-Roger test also perform well.
