The study looked at how exposure to gender stereotypes can affect how people see others and themselves. They found that being around things related to gender can make people more likely to stereotype others and also to think about themselves in stereotypical ways. In one experiment, they showed that just seeing gender-related stuff can make people judge others based on stereotypes. In another experiment, they found that high school students changed how they acted based on gender stereotypes.
