Intercropping corn with soybean boosts yield and quality, revolutionizing farming.
Intercropping with corn, soybean, and sunflower was studied to see how it affects corn yield and growth. The experiment found that corn's chlorophyll levels were highest when grown with soybean and sunflower. Corn-sunflower intercropping reduced corn yield, while corn-soybean intercropping increased ear length, grain yield, and harvest index. Sunflower next to corn decreased corn yield. Overall, growing corn with soybean and sunflower together had the best results for corn growth and yield.
