Cassava production in Akpabuyo, Cross River State is mainly done by female farmers with small farm sizes. The average age of farmers is 47.85, and the profitability of cassava production is confirmed. Factors like farm size, land value, gender, age, education, and experience positively affect cassava output, while cassava cuttings, labor, education, and experience have a significant impact on output. High input costs are a major challenge for cassava farmers in the area. To improve output, policies should be implemented to support farmers.
