Quality Function Deployment (QFD) helps turn customer needs into design requirements for better customer satisfaction. The house of quality (HOQ) is a tool used in this process. A new decision model has been developed to choose the best design requirements by using a modified HOQ. This model assigns ratings between customer needs and design requirements to prioritize them effectively. The researchers applied this model to improve indoor air quality and found it to be successful.
