The article introduces a faster way to calculate the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) using a polynomial representation of the mother wavelet. By using this method, the researchers were able to speed up the calculations needed for CWT compared to traditional methods. Experimental results with two-dimensional data confirmed that the new approach is much quicker than the old ways.
