New Score Statistics Boost Power of Testing Hypotheses in Nonparametric Inference
The article introduces new statistics for testing hypotheses with current status data. These new statistics are compared to traditional ones like the Wald statistic. The new statistics have different distributions under the null hypothesis. The study shows that the score statistics and likelihood ratio are more powerful than the Wald statistic. Additionally, one of the score statistics may be more powerful than the likelihood ratio for certain scenarios.
