They found that compost made in a simple bucket had the best quality, with the right amount of water and nutrients for plants. The compost made in a fast processor had the least water and the highest carbon-to-nitrogen ratio. All three methods produced compost that was good for plants, but the bucket method was the best according to agriculture standards.
