Open innovation, like crowdsourcing, is being used by governments to involve citizens in developing projects and improving government services. This review looked at how crowdsourcing ideas can help citizens and governments work together to create innovative solutions for social issues. The study found that crowdsourcing can be a valuable tool for promoting citizen participation in government innovation and solving community problems.
