The gender wage gap in Finland was studied in this research. The focus was on the early years of a person's career, where the wage gap between men and women increases significantly. Factors like education and work experience play a big role in this gap. University majors also affect the wage difference, with certain majors leading to higher pay for men compared to women. Overall, differences in qualifications and education account for a significant portion of the gender wage gap among young white-collar workers in Finland.
