High plant density boosts okra yield and quality in Zimbabwe.
A study looked at how planting okra at different densities affects its growth and yield. They tested five different plant densities and found that having 31,200 plants per hectare gave the tallest plants, most branches, and highest number of pods. This density also produced the longest pods and the highest fruit yield. The lowest results were seen with 62,400 plants per hectare. So, planting okra at a density of 31,200 plants per hectare is best for getting the most okra.
