The UK has made progress in creating a climate-resilient economy, but more needs to be done to address the risks and costs of high-carbon activities. Current policies focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions until 2020, but the next Government must design new policies to continue reducing emissions cost-effectively until 2030 and beyond.
