The researchers wanted to see how a combination of Grape seed extract and Zincovit tablets affected blood sugar levels in rats with diabetes. They gave the rats the supplements for 45 days and found that the blood sugar levels decreased in the diabetic rats but increased in the normal rats. The supplements also helped protect the liver in the diabetic rats. This suggests that the supplements may help lower blood sugar levels by reducing damage from harmful molecules in the body.
