High Copper Levels in Zooplankton Threaten Marine Ecosystems in Bay of Bengal
The study looked at copper levels in tiny sea creatures in the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. They found that copper levels in zooplankton were higher in the Bay of Bengal compared to the Andaman Sea. The copper levels in the water were also higher in the Bay of Bengal. This suggests that there may be more copper pollution in the Bay of Bengal than in the Andaman Sea.
