Optimizing nitrogen levels boosts wheat yield for sustainable agriculture.
The study looked at how different types of wheat plants grow and produce grain when given different amounts of nitrogen. They found that adding more nitrogen helped the plants grow and produce more grain, up to a certain point. After a certain level, adding more nitrogen didn't make a difference. The best results were seen when one specific type of wheat plant was given 120 kilograms of nitrogen per hectare. This led to the highest grain yield compared to other nitrogen levels tested.
