In this research, a new method was developed to convert old-fashioned databases into more flexible and scalable object-oriented databases. They wanted to help users transition to the next-gen database systems without losing valuable existing data. By using information from the original database, a system was created to automatically transform it into an object-oriented version. The process involved understanding the structure of the original database and then mapping it to the new format. As a result, the team successfully migrated data from the old database to the new one, making it easier for users to embrace the benefits of object-oriented databases.
