Aeration in fish ponds improves water quality and helps fish grow better. In this study, four types of fish were raised in six ponds for six months. Half of the ponds had aeration, while the other half did not. The aerated ponds had significantly higher fish growth and survival rates compared to the non-aerated ponds. Aeration increased fish production by 2095 Kg/acre, resulting in a profit of Rs. 144,130.
