Progressive criminology and grassroots organizations unite to reform criminal justice system
The article discusses how minority groups are unfairly targeted by the criminal justice system, especially in the US. Despite a lot of research on this issue, it hasn't led to much change in policies or actions by grassroots organizations. The authors suggest forming partnerships between progressive criminology and social justice groups to address these problems. They identify nine organizations that could work together to make a difference in the criminal justice system.
