The study looked at how cities can get really hot compared to the areas around them, like an island of heat. They used satellite data to see this happening in Xi'an City. The hot areas were spreading towards the south and north as the city grew. They found that Lantian District was getting even hotter. To fix this, they suggested planting more trees, designing buildings better, reducing artificial heat, and controlling pollution. This could help make Xi'an City cooler and better for the environment.
