Soil samples were collected from different depths in Jordan Valley to study their properties. By analyzing various factors like particle size and organic matter, researchers developed equations to predict how water moves through the soil. These equations were tested on new samples and found to be accurate in estimating soil properties. This means we can now better understand and predict how water behaves in different types of soil in the Jordan Valley.
