New study reveals tropical seed oils with potential health benefits!
The study looked at the types and amounts of fats in four different tropical seed oils from plants like bottle gourd and loofah. They found that the fats in these oils are mostly made up of similar combinations of fatty acids. The researchers used a method called high performance liquid chromatography to analyze the fats. All four oils had similar types of fats, with trilinolein and palmitodilinolein being common. The bottle gourd oils had a lot of trilinolein, while the loofah oils had more palmitodilinolein.
