Young women with breast cancer face challenges in preserving their fertility due to chemotherapy and hormonal therapy. To protect their ability to have children in the future, embryo cryopreservation before treatment is the most reliable method available. Limited data on the safety of fertility preservation and pregnancy after breast cancer complicates decision-making. It is crucial to address fertility concerns early in the care of young women with breast cancer to allow them the option of fertility preservation without delaying treatment.
